Hi, I’m Logan Brantley, MSW, LCSW, LICSW

I’ve spent my career sitting with people in the messy, in-between places. The woman rebuilding her sense of safety. The parent who loves their toddler but who never had their own good role model. The adult who lost their childhood. The person who’s spent years trying to reconcile who they are with who they were raised to be. None of that is a problem to be solved so much as a relationship to be worked out - one between you and your nervous system and belongingness.

My Approach

My approach is rooted in interpersonal neurobiology (the science of how relationships and nervous systems shape each other) alongside Expressive Arts Therapy, Brainspotting, and somatic Internal Family Systems. I also draw on Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and strengths-based work when that’s what a session calls for. I’ve taught graduate courses on the mind-body connection and the fundamentals of counseling, so you can expect the clinical rigor to be real — this isn’t just intuition dressed up as therapy.

I also happen to be an artist — though you’re more likely to feel that rather than hear me say it outright. It shows up in how I listen for metaphor, in why a blank page or a particular movement can sometimes say what words can’t, and in the image at the top of this site, which I drew myself: a lioness, a fawn, and a small bird, gathered around a flowering branch to symbolize the way our fight/flight, fawn/freeze response can be harmonized and the way I help hold that evolving balance.

If there’s one word underneath everything I do, it’s symbiosis. Mind and body. Self and other. Parent and child. You and the culture that shaped you. There are boundaries, there are bridges and there are ways we overlap - these are the nuances that we can navigate through reshaping your innate wisdom. That’s the work.
