“We ourselves are events in history. Things do not merely happen to us, they happen through us.”
Individual Therapy
I work with teens (age 16+) and adults for in-person therapy in San Diego and virtual therapy throughout California, Texas, Illinois, Washington D.C., Virginia and Maryland.
I am a sex-positive, body-positive, and LGBTQ+ affirmative therapist. I am committed to a lifelong journey of deconstructing intersectional power dynamics and identify as a feminist and anti-racism ally.
I have 8+ years of specialized experience in supporting clients through sexual abuse, sexual abuse by a family member, domestic abuse, identity confusion, women’s chronic health issues, intergenerational trauma, racial/systemic trauma, and in navigating other oppressive structures that create barriers to self-empowerment.
I use a strengths-based framework to support individuals on their journey to a more meaningful life. My trauma-informed approach offers a client-centered space to create goals for therapy. Through mind-body exploration, individuals are empowered to detangle their complex emotions.
By learning to be curious and compassionate with our emotional selves, our nervous system has the opportunity to become less overwhelmed by shame and guilt, and instead more confident, grounded and resilient.

I see folks for individual therapy in CA, DC, MD, VA, IL and TX via a secure HIPPA compliant platform for audio + video tele therapy.
Anxiety, depression, trauma, women’s issues, life changes, health promotion and self-alignment
For younger populations (ages 3-16 years old), I provide in person therapy services at Child Therapy San Diego and 0-5 year old expressive art programing at The Chrysalis Center.
I am always interested in expanding holistic therapeutic support and health promotion. Whether you are a client or business looking to collaborate please feel free to reach out.

I use a creative and client-centered approach to care. In a typical session with me, we will take time to arrive and end the space with a meditative practice . During the middle of our sessions you can expect to
gain helpful psycho-education relevant to your unique experience
explore your thoughts, feelings, sensations and behavior patterns relevant to your goals for therapy
at times “decenter” from the problem by way of sensory exploration or creativity to gain new strength-oriented insights
at times externalize feelings, sensations, thoughts, beliefs, etc. through creative outlets (i.e. writing, moving, etc.)
develop and practice new patterns (or neuroplasticity)
potentially be assigned ‘fun’ homework like practicing a skill or self-care relevant to your therapeutic goals
